Ceremonial Grade Second Harvest Matcha
Reliable shipping
Flexible returns
Shade-grown and hand-picked, air-dried, stone-ground, 100% pure, ceremonial-grade, GMO-free matcha.
Our second harvest matcha offers a deeper, more distinctive flavor profile, especially for those looking for a full-bodied, slightly earthy beverage. It is fuller and more concentrated, making it an ideal choice for milky drinks, especially matcha lattes, where the rich flavor profile really shines.
The L-theanine and chlorophyll contained in it are naturally present in smaller quantities than in the first-harvest version, but they still contribute to the pleasant energy boost and balanced well-being that regular consumption of matcha can provide.
The tea comes from Kagoshima , one of the most fertile and greenest regions in Japan , where the volcanic soil and humid climate provide excellent conditions for quality tea leaves.
Flavor notes:

Preparation suggestion:
Matcha is traditionally consumed in Japan during tea ceremonies, frothed with water, but it can also be enjoyed at home - either as a classic tea or as a latte.
- As a tea
Sift 1 teaspoon of matcha powder and mix with 70–80°C water (approx. 70–100 ml) until smooth and frothy. You can use a bamboo chasen or a milk frother for this. - Matcha as a latte
Dissolve 1 teaspoon of matcha powder in a little warm water, then pour over 150–200 ml of warm or cold milk – you can sweeten it to taste.
